Za’ndra Bishop is a solutions-oriented HR and business strategy professional and leader with more than 15 years of business operations management, program development, internal consulting, and non-profit management in multi-cultural settings. Prior to starting her own business in 2019, Za’ndra’s work experience included a variety of senior leadership positions. Her main role responsibilities included developing and facilitating leadership programs; directing and leading various functional teams —sales, recruitment, business development, and marketing; leading succession, strategy, and change management taskforces; and creating volunteer infrastructures and management systems within the non-profit sector. Additionally, in 2019, she joined FSPLeaders as a consultant to serve a variety of national and international clients.
Za’ndra has a deep understanding of leading and training remote cross-cultural and functional teams and taskforces to meet professional and organizational goals. She has extensive knowledge and background to adapt her agile and empathic leadership and management coaching style for her staff and volunteers, which increased productivity, engagement, and met organizational objectives. With the ability to lead and communicate with empathy, she delivers services and builds volunteers and staff to achieve and serve in the way they desire to maximize their potential. She also serves as a professor teaching courses in business and human resources.
Za’ndra received her BA in psychology, earned Masters in Business Management and Human Resources Management. She also secured her Doctorate in Business Management and Organizational Leadership. Certified in volunteer administration and online teaching in higher education. On a personal note, she enjoys serving as an Awanas leader, coaching at the YMCA, volunteering at the library at her church, and volunteering as a digital outreach volunteer with Focus on the Family organization. Za’ndra resides in Houston, Texas with her family.
