Founded in 1955, Sky Ranch is one of North America’s premiere Christian Camps, as well as a Recognized School Programs Provider and Retreat/Conference Center. Sky Ranch exists to provide people with a positive, recreational, fun, and memorable experience, while being exposed to the truths of the Word of God. As Sky Ranch continues to grow, they are currently seeking a Vice President, Finance and Administration.
The Vice President, Finance and Administration is a newly created role on the Sky Ranch Leadership Team, which will report to the President/CEO. The new Vice President will be responsible for providing clarity and insight regarding all fiscal management aspects of the organization, in conjunction with the President/CEO, and the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors. He/she will lead and manage all administrative support systems of Sky Ranch, which include: Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technology.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with and support the CEO and other Leadership Team members, and will develop, design, and recommend long-term strategic plans that support the future operational needs of the organization. In addition to a strong relationship with Christ, the Vice President, Finance and Administration will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with 5+ years of public accounting audit experience and/or CFO/Controller experience. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, as well as nonprofit specific accounting standards is required as well. This position does require flexibility to office either in Dallas, Texas or East Texas, and will require some travel as needed to other current or prospective Sky Ranch locations.
