Open Sky Education, formerly Educational Enterprise, Inc., is an entrepreneurial organization working to provide a full and lasting education for all children through nationally renowned academics, character formation, and faith-based educational choices, in an accessible and affordable manner. Under the Open Sky brand are Compass Educational Programs – a Christian organization that offers complementary programs for K-12 education such as before- and after-school care and preschool. Open Sky is currently seeking a National Director to oversee Compass Programs and serve as a key leader in expanding Compass Educational Programs.

In addition to serving as a vital leader in establishing a vision for national growth, the National Director will provide leadership to all Site Directors and support staff. He/she will oversee operational aspects of all sites (there are currently four sites in the Arizona Region and three sites in the St. Louis Region), meet financial targets through recruitment and service management practices, and incorporate active continuous improvements in the quality of operations.

The ideal candidate for this role will hold a Bachelor’s degree, in teaching, early childhood education, or school administration preferred, or a combination of a degree in another field with a license in one of the above areas. He/she should have an entrepreneurial mindset, with one or more years of experience managing non-exempt employees, quality control, and finances, preferably in the service industry. Proven skills in sales, customer service, conflict resolution and collaboration are a must, with demonstrated skill in scaling operations preferred as well.
